We love you! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04/14/2010 New Videos added to the Rusty Muffins and Documentary pages! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04/11/2010 It is already hot down here in Florida and things are heating up with the documentary. We had a bit of a setback this year when our computer had to be wiped clean because of a unrepairable virus. We lost some working files of the film, but all of the source footage was uneffected. This has been a blessing in disguise and will only make the final product better. If anyone has come across pics, footage, art, writngs or anything else relating to Sean we are still very interested in adding it to the collection of source material for the project. The final video for the documentary will be shot in Lexington, Kentucky this year. If you want to be interviewed or have material you think should be included in the project get in touch with me right away. We also hope to have all the final masters of Sean's Albums completed this year. Check back for updates! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12/19/09 I hope everyone is doing well this holiday season. Things are moving along with the documentary. We didn't get to meet up in Kentucky this year to conduct interviews for the video but we will be shooting for the springtime. Thanks to everyone to has offered help and encouragement throughout this past year. Happy Holidays to all and may 2010 be your best year yet. - Mike -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 09/20/09 Thanks to everyone in Indiana and elsewhere who was interviewed, helped with location shoots, let me borrow equipment, let me stay at their house, helped with expenses. Last weekend went very well. Much was accomplished. I brought back 7+ hours of footage. I still have some phone interviews to record, then off to Lexington, KY. Not sure exactly when, but I will keep you updated. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 06/17/09 A few weeks ago I added sample tracks for Sean's album 'NINE' to the illin/0247 section. We also featured a Lego version of Sean on the main page for a while. For those of you who missed it, it will stay in the rotation of images and I am sure you will see it again in the future. Some of Sean's earlier music used samples from movies and other sources, some of which are proving quite hard to identify. If anyone knows of a good resource to identify quotes from film please email me. I would like to make sure no copyrights are infringed upon when final copies of his work become available. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/22/09 I just uncovered a lost gem of a recording. Back in the early-mid 90s Sean, using audio tracks from Chris Carneal's Pelce project, added his own vocals to create demo versions of Chris' songs. Although these may never be heard outside a small circle of friends, it was a joy to discover and allowed Chris and I to revisit a time when the three of us lived in Lexington, KY. Damn Sean, We miss you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/13/09 More video is being processed every week. Thanks to all who have submitted video of Sean. I still do not have dates for the trips to Kentucky and Indiana., however I am looking at a possible trip to Indiana in September. A partial track list for Sean's Virulent album is up. I still need to verify the origin of several audio samples in this album's songs. If anyone knows a reference to find obscure quotes from film let me know. As you can see I have created a separate page for the documentary. More detailed information about the project can be found there. Thanks for the emails. More content will be added soon. Sean's first couple albums, VIRULENT and ORGANISM, are being mastered to digital. More updates on that soon. More footage has been trickling in from various sources adding to the video archive that will be accessed for the the documentary under development. Thanks for your support. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/27/08 We have decided to add a donation button to allow all you out there, who are waiting for the Sean documentary to be completed, to help out. Fuzzy Space Outpost is processing donations for the documentary through Paypal. We need your help, believe me. The project keeps getting bigger and the funds are shrinking rapidly. The project will happen, but it will happen much quicker with your help. There are hardware, software, materials and production costs that need attending to. Sean was working on a new album in 2007 and more information will be released here as it becomes available. I am still working on a song list. That will be added shortly. I recently added an art gallery of Sean's work. A photo gallery is in the works and should be up shortly. I am very excited about the amount of Sean's music that is being preserved. There is so much! More info will be coming soon. Our goal is to spread Sean's creativity around the world. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sean Wilhoite Documentary 9/15/08 My recent trip to Indiana was a great success. I was fortunate to meet with so many of Sean's friends and family. I am very pleased to report that Sean's archive of music, both personal and with others, is and will be preserved. Over the coming months and years more and more will be available. The video Shoot at the Strand Theatre in Shelbyville was alot of fun and produced hours of wonderful footage and beautiful words from many of Sean's friends. More is needed in the future before we get to stage two of this project. My next stop will most likely be Lexington, Kentucky; a place Sean spent many years. Thank you Joe and Jewell Wilhoite for your loving hospitality and confidence. Thank you Allison, Scott and Sara for your generosity.
